Farini and San Cristoforo Railway Yard

The project originates with the Program Agreement, which was signed in 2017 jointly by the Municipality of Milan, Lombardy Region, Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane, Rete Ferroviaria Italiana and FS Sistemi Urbani for the requalification of Milan’s seven disused railway yards (Farini, Porta Romana, Porta Genova, Greco-Breda, Lambrate, Rogoredo, San Cristoforo), which together cover an area of 1million and 250 thousand square meters, of which 65% will be allocated to green areas.
